Charli XCX added more speculation to a rumored feud with Taylor Swift this weekend by wearing a simple t-shirt that fans believe was directed at Swift. Here's what we know.
On Saturday, October 11, Charli made a cameo appearance on Saturday Night Live alongside the show's musical guest, Role Model — a friend of Charli's. During the musician's performance of “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” it has become a tradition for Role Model to bring out a guest on stage to play his “Sally.” It started on tour when Role Model used to bring out a fan. But now, he's switched to bringing out celebrities like Reneé Rapp and Natalie Portman.
Role Model's SNL performance was no different, and he decided to bring out Charli as his “Sally” for the special occasion. The Brat singer sauntered onto the stage with her signature sunglasses on, while also wearing a t-shirt that said “Max's Kansas City” on it. Since Taylor Swift has become synonymous with Kansas City and her Chiefs player fiancé, Travis Kelce, some fans believe the shirt was a choice made to stoke the fire between Charli and Swift.
